Obituary for Willie Martin
Willie Luedean Martin, age 90 of Spencer, Tennessee and native of Van Buren County, Tennessee, passed from this life on Monday, December 11, 2017, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee.
Luedean was a homemaker, farmer, loving mother, and grandmother called Ma by many. She loved children, playing rook, feeding bottle calves, fishing and just being outdoors. She was born Monday, August 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Walter Sullivan and Novella Green Sullivan of Spencer.
She was married October 2, 1943 to Elmer Martin of Spencer, TN who preceded her in death April 6, 2006.
In addition to her husband and parents, Luedean was preceded in death by her daughter Virginia Martin, son Freddy Martin, son-in-laws Timmy Graham and Coy Conley, granddaughter Bridgette Harvey, three great great grandchildren Makensie Davis, Zaylee Watson, and Korbyn Davis, two brothers Aulton Sullivan, and Dan Sullivan, two sisters Sue Rigsby and Dora Sullivan.
Luedean is survived by great grandchild Lincoln Talon Brown (the apple of her eye) six daughters Josie Conley, Charlotte Hillis and husband Hugh, Judy Denny and husband Kenneth, Peggie Rigsby and husband Bruce, Rella McCoy and husband Brad, and Nell Brown all of Spencer.
19 grandchildren Andrew Conley, Sissy Davis, Jennifer Mooneyham, Jimmy Hillis, Preston Denny, Chassidy Lancaster, Susie Maxwell, Leah Roberts, Cassie Hodge, Bea Martin, Freddy Ray Martin, Amy Smith, Adam Rigsby, Allen Rigsby, Terrice McCoy, Chase McCoy, Lucas McCoy, and Molly Brown.

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends also survive.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at Spencer Funeral Home with Wayne Sullivan, Denton Martin, and William Wanamaker officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery, Spencer, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 and again Thursday from 8 AM to 1 PM, at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
