Jimmy   Neal, Funeral Home Manager, Licensed Funeral Director

Jimmy, Funeral Home Manager, Licensed Funeral Director, was born and raised in the White county area. He is the son of the late Claude and Betty Neal of the Quebeck Community. Jimmy went to school and attended Quebeck Elementary School and graduated from White County High School. After school he began work in the old Sparta Shirt Factory. He was a member of the White County Rescue Squad for 30 years. Since 1960 he has been working in the funeral business serving the good people of White, Warren and Van Buren Counties. Jimmy and his wife, Christine Buttrum Neal live in Doyle, TN and have two children and five grandchildren.

Michael   Neal, Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Insurance Agent

Michael Neal is a native of White County. Michael is a 2001 graduate of White County High School. Before coming and joining his Grandfather, Jimmy Neal, at Spencer Funeral Home, Michael previously worked at Camp Clements for over 4 years. “I’m proud to have been able to serve the families of Van Buren County the last few years. I’m looking forward to many years of helping my family and friends in Van Buren County with all of their funeral arrangemnts, pre-planning arrangements and monument needs”.


Isaac Scott, Funeral Assistant (Non-Licensed)

Isaac Scott was born in Warren County to parents Katherine & Glenn Scott. He was raised in the small community of Piney, located in Spencer, TN. He graduated Van Buren County High School in 2011. Isaac is married to Miranda (Kirtland) Scott and they have one daughter, Ellie.

Isaac and his family attend Bellview Community Church, located in the community of Piney. Isaac also preached and has done so for the last 7 years. He formerly worked at Gwen’s Gardens & Furniture. Isaac has been working at Spencer Funeral Home since November 2013. “I am proud of the opportunity that I have to help others in their time of need.”

Thomas L.   Farmer, Non-Licensed Funeral Assistant

Thomas, Non-Licensed Funeral Assistant, is a native of Trion, Georgia and has been married to his high school sweetheart, Sandra Farmer since 1956. Thomas is a retired Southern Baptist Pastor serving many churches including Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Summerville, GA, Greenwood Baptist Church, Doyle, TN, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Crossville, TN and First Baptist Church, Spencer, TN. Tom and wife Sandra have 2 Children and 5 Grandchildren. “I am blessed to continue serving friends, family, and neighbors here in the Middle Tennessee area with Spencer Funeral Home.”
