Jimmy   Neal, Funeral Home Manager, Licensed Funeral Director

Jimmy, Funeral Home Manager, Licensed Funeral Director, was born and raised in the White county area. He is the son of the late Claude and Betty Neal of the Quebeck Community. Jimmy went to school and attended Quebeck Elementary School and graduated from White County High School. After school he began work in the old Sparta Shirt Factory. He is a Life member of the White County Rescue Squad and served as an active member for 30 years. Since around 1957 he has been working in the funeral business serving the good people of White, Warren and Van Buren Counties. Jimmy and his wife, Christine Buttrum Neal live in Doyle, TN and have two children, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Michael   Neal, Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Insurance Agent

Michael Neal is a native of White County. Michael is a 2001 graduate of White County High School. Before coming and joining his Grandfather, Jimmy Neal, at Spencer Funeral Home in 2006, Michael previously worked at Camp Clements for 4 1/2 years. Michael is married to Amanda Cannon Neal and they have two daughters. “I’m proud to have been able to serve the families of Van Buren County the last several years. I’m looking forward to many years of helping my family and friends in Van Buren County with all of their funeral arrangements, pre-planning arrangements and monument needs”.


Tony Turner, Non - Licensed Funeral Assistant

Tony is native of Warren County. He is a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy. Tony is an Adjutant for the American Legion Post 207 of Spencer. Tony retired from Ben Lomand Telephone where he was a Staking Engineer. He is a former Volunteer Fire Fighter for Sparta Fire Department. Tony is on the Council Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, and he is a member of the West Sparta Church of Christ. Tony has a son Christopher Turner who is an Eagle Scout and works for Sam's Club in Arkansas. He has two grandchildren Hannah and Matthew.
I am glad to be able to help the families of Van Buren County in one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Will England, Non - Licensed Funeral Assistant

Will is a White County native and a graduate of White County High School class of 1975. Will has a BS and MA from Tennessee Tech. He spent 38 years teaching and coaching in the White County School System. Will has been married to his wife Renee Geer England for 35 years. They have two daughters and 2 granddaughters. Will is enjoying renewing friendships and making new friends while helping the families of Van Buren County.
